Case 164: Peripheral Arterial Insufficiency Relieved in Dialysis Patient
![]() |
This 80 year old lady had her left leg bypassed in 1964. She had coronary bypass surgery in 1988. Her cardiologist placed her in the New York Heart class 4. She now was on dialysis and because of painful mottled feet and an inability to walk, she was referred for boot therapy by her nephrologist on January 19, 1994. |

She was treated with Mini-Boot and did well. Her foot pain disappeared. Normal skin color was restored. She regained her ability to walk around her home. When last contacted on March 10th, 1995, she was still doing well. |
Comments: Was there any other form of therapy that might have helped this women?
